Buoy Locator Mode
Buoy Locator Mode allows the user to find a previously mapped buoy.
From Survey Slalom or Survey Jump Modes, open the menu and select Buoy Locator. The following screen will animate in...

The circular grid gives a graphical representation of the current location relative to the buoy being looked for (centre of the grid).

The red compass needle will indicate the direction you need to travel to the buoy but will only be accurate whilst the antenna is in motion. This is because a GPS receiver will only give accurate bearings whilst readings are changing regularly. The numbers give the distance to the buoy and the units will change (metres/centimetres) as you get nearer to the location. As you get close to the buoy location and necessarily slow down, the compass needle will start to behave somewhat erratically and so switch to using the circular grid to fine tune your location. As you get closer to the buoy, the circular grid's scale will also increase. This is indicated on the grid's outer circle.
